Thursday is usually a raid night for me, but tonight wasn't good for most of our raiders and it didn't happen.  My mount farming partner and I were getting ready to do mount farming stuff when he got called away to do his 10m Uld group.  So instead I took a friend/bored guildie with me.  Anzu didn't drop.

Then we went to MGT for a shot at pets/mounts/orbs and had some fun--

This second picture is hilarious because in the midst of trying to get these pictures we nearly died, and in order to stay a live a few minutes longer he popped his Last Stand macro, which is always announced as... (see picture for quote).
I look so weensy next to him!
Sadly, we didn't clear it.  We think Kael bugged, because he kept one shotting my friend, IN TANK GEAR, with over 40k health, for like 42k crits.  Wtf.  FAIL'THAS!

Hello ladies. I've been playing since a few months after release. I leveled 1 - 70 on Bleeding Hollow, then transferred to Crushridge for a friend. I did a lot of Kara but never progressed past that. I transferred to Lightbringer to be with a bunch of friends at 80.

I'm in [according to my boy] the best 10-man guild on the server, but I don't raid with them. I can't do 25mans due to special internet and am having a bit of trouble getting into any Ulduar runs because of that. I'm sick of Naxx, and don't need anything from there anyway, and am pretty fed up with raiding and instances and anything like that.

SO. I've decided that my lovely gnome mage is no longer going to spend her time pressing 3 different buttons in instances, and instead is going to waste lots of time doing silly things she doesn't need.

( So I tailored her a pretty white dress since her T7 is not pretty to look at and... )

SO the tl;dr version of this - what are some silly things I can do to waste time on an 80 that I don't want to / can't raid with? I like titles and achievements and pretty things like that. :D

Also, if you see Almarina - a pink haired gnome in a white dress - running around on Lightbringer, say hello!

got a hair cut finally, after about a year. the layers all grew out and i was getting so annoyed by it so i finally booked an appointment. i was hesitant to cut my bangs because it's summer in florida. which for all you who don't live here, means that it's horribly humid and usually means that my bangs would all curl up and i'd look like a hot mess. surprisingly i haven't had a problem with it yet thank god.

my hair is very short, and it is always very short. I have a problem with growing my hair out because i have no patience and am in a constant need for drastic change when it comes to my hair. But I really want to start growing it out. Again.

whats the best advice you would give to someone like me? Or rather, what mindset do you put yourself in when growing out your hair? i try and hide scissors from myself, but i always seem to find em again!

Hi, y'all! I'm a relatively new player, and my so-far-only character is an 80 Dwarf Warrior on Khaz Modan named Suffragette. ( An old pic from when I was leveling ... )

Anyway! I leveled Arms and have been experimenting with Fury lately, and while I have a set of tanking blues, I've played around in Prot for maaaaaybe ten minutes. Something about tanking intimidates the hell out of me. I've read up on the rotation and spec options and feel like I know the facts of tanking, but I'm still scared I'll screw up horribly, wipe a group, and be mocked in Trade forever. ;_;

Any tips for a) overcoming my fear, and b) not sucking? Especially when tanking multiple mobs. Honestly, I'm still struggling with multiple mobs when I'm DPSing -- standing in the right place, facing the right way, quickly selecting a new target when my current one dies, and so on. As soon as there's that many things on the screen, I start losing track. Spatial perception for the lose. I'm working on practicing strafing on target dummies. Any other tips for building my intuitive understanding of a complex battlefield? I know running heroics is the best practice, but it's so difficult to get into a pug when you're DPS. Which is why I need to learn to tank ...

WTF......... a few minutes ago, my mom noticed the toilet was still running from whenever one of us used it last, and asked me to fix the chain or whatever. I hate having to do this, because I don't care how clean the water in the back of the toilet is supposed to be, that shit's nasty.

So I took off the lid to the tank, finagled the chain until it was re-attached to the handle, then set about setting the lid back on the toilet. As I did so, I saw what looked like some of the stray dusty cobwebs just to the left of the toilet moving... then I saw what appeared to be legs on the cobwebs... 8 of them. 8 loooong legs.

Cue the biggest fucking spider I've seen in this house popping out and leaping on top of the toilet lid in a defensive posture. And when I say big, I mean biiiiig. I'd estimate its legspan to be maybe 4 inches.

At this point, I let fly with a string of shouted obscenities, and yelled for my mom to bring me the can of RAID we keep in the kitchen. I sprayed the fucker once, and it dove off onto the floor. From there, I doused it until it curled up. Then I squished it with paper towels and flushed it.

WHY does it ALWAYS have to be spiders?! And WHY right behind the toilet?! COME ON. My hand was less then three inches from that little fucker when I grabbed the lid, and I didn't even know it. @_@!!

But I mean... snakes! I could handle a snake. No problem. Lizards! Anything else! But NOT gigantic-ass long-legged furred spiders. Just... NO. DX

If I had to guess, I'd say it was a young wolf spider, maybe. It was pretty fast, and Wolf spiders have been all over this area lately, due to the rain and such.

But just... can't they go to Cathy's house or something? Why MY house, my toilet?

I'm gonna be squicked out all night now. UGH. x_X

My guild... just had an epic moment.

It's progression raid night, and we've done 3 things we haven't done before.  Oneshotted Freya (no deaths on trash), twoshotted Thorim (only just took him out for the first time last week), and we just tried Mimiron for the first time... and twoshotted him.  We had something like 7 people up for the last phase.  XD

Saturday, we hit General for the first time.  I didn't think I'd see this.  :o

I am sooo bored by my hair. It is just plain. It's not flattering and it doesn't do anything for me. I'm looking for ideas of cuts and styles that are more flattering and interesting. Nothing short though.

I recently downloaded a new ui, and everything is going peachy except pitbull wont let me leave groups/raids. When I right click my portrait it brings up the pitbull config menu. Is there anyway to fix this, any /commands to get out of a party?
